Evangeleia (Leia) Davliakos is a Greek American artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her art is defined by the dialogue between color and Hellenic memoir embodying classical style. She experiments with Byzantine Encaustic Wax Painting, an ancient technique using heated beeswax, as a means of expression through texture. Leia makes creative travels to Paros, Greece to paint and become inspired as she experiments with light and color concentrating her art around the theme “Windows to the World.”
